Family?!?!?!

I'm sorry but I just have to vent here a little. I am tired of being the person my family comes to when they have a problem with another family member. I hate being put in the middle and made to feel like I have to take sides. I don't understand why people can't just tell others how they are feeling or why they are hurt. I can't be the one who helps you solve all your problems nor do I want to.

Sometimes moving away from family sounds like the best idea. Just to get away from all the drama, daily problems, and the miscommunication. If people were more sensitive to what they were saying and more tough about how they PERCEIVE what's being said then this post would not exist. I think my family needs to listen to the series Pastor Dave did on Offense!

Sorry if you read this... I'm just having an off day!

I'm back!

I am so well rested I don't even know how to act. Two nights ago Baby NoNo slept 6 hours straight and last night 7 hours straight people! It's about time is all I'm sayin' because Mommy needs her sleep and waking up every hour to an hour and a half is no fun. Hopefully tonight he'll make it to 8 hours! I'm praying!

And we have sleep

I am so excited... Baby NoNo slept 4 1/2 hours last night woke up to eat and then slept another 3 hours! I know this might not seem like much but I have an eater for a son and nothing seemed to work. I tried formula because it's thicker, cereal in formula, and waking him up every couple hours during the day so that he's tired at night. Nothing seemed to be working so I gave up and just woke up every 1-2 hours to feed him. BUT last night we had huge breakthrough and I feel so refreshed! Just thought I'd share.

P.S. I had so much fun last night at the church picnic!

You have a ton of interests. While some of them are a bit offbeat, they all tie together well.

You friends rely on you to bring novelty and excitement to their lives.

(And while you're the most interesting person they know, they can't help feeling like they don't know you well.)

It's Official!

I am officially a stay at home mommy. Mr Clean and I made the decision last week and I informed Christ Community Church that I would not be returning. I am so excited to get to raise my kids up in the Lord and spend everyday with them. These past 8 weeks have been so much fun. It's like I've just gotten to know my daughter. She is so much fun and she's only two. She is so smart and loves to learn and talk about creative... she enjoys doing crafts already. That's where I need prayer...crafts are not my strong suite. I mean we can only make so many paper plate animals! I am open to any suggestions if you would like to share your crafting secrets!

Laney Bug turns 2

Ok, so officially her birthday is Monday but we celebrated Saturday.

She woke up to mommy singing "Happy Birthday" to her and she just looked at me like I was Krazy. Then I told her we were going to have a party for her... and she knows what that is. Let me just say there was lots of screaming and running around.

12:00 - Laney sees Grandmas and Pappys, aunts and uncles & cousins arriving and gets excited.
12:30 - We eat but Laney is soooo excited she only eats a hot dog and then wants down.
1:00 - We open gifts and that was an adventure all in itself. Every piece of clothing she got, she had to walk around and show everyone. That took awhile but we enticed her back over with another gift.

1:30 - We eat this fabulous cake made by TCC. Laney has a black mouth from the icing. And I was informed by Mr. Clean that her butt was black from it as well. I just took his word for it... no need for me to look and see.

2:00 - Family leaves and Laney is still wired from all that sugar
3:00-5:00 - me and Mr. Clean are cleaning up and playing with Laney's toys. Pappy got her a power wheels car that is pink and we...um I mean she loves it.

5:00 - we head over to Grandma's because uncle Jesse and Uncle JoJo are here until Tuesday and we miss them so much.

10:00 - we head home and crash!

Needless to say I think she had a very fun 2nd birthday. Maybe next year when the basement is done and our outside is finished we can invite friends over as well. It was quite interesting squeezing 20 people into a 900 square foot home but we managed!

Need a part time job?

I forgot to post this last week...sorry mom! My parents have a part time job and so does Mr. Clean. They work for a courier service that picks up samples from vets. It is an extremely easy job and actually fun. My parents do the "run" 6 days a week and are looking for someone who might be interested in taking Wednesday evening from 4-6pm and Saturday from 9-11am from them. The area they do is Carlisle and Boiling Springs then they meet to drop off at New Cumberland. You would make $45.00 a day for two hours of work. That's $90.00 a week and $360.00 a month extra money. One catch... you have to take out your own taxes which is about 25% of your pay. If you are interested please email me.

Mr. Clean and I do a run 6 days a week and we enjoy it. And if we are wanting to spend time together we all go on the run. Laney and I sing while daddy tries to tune us out. And NoNo just sleeps. We can get a bit silly at times. So if you ever see us driving around being Krazy you know we are having some good quality family time!

Update on the Klingers!

Thank you all for praying for Dan and I and the State Police but we found out
that God has other plans so we rest in Him to open the door.

It is totally a God thing because after we got home from having Noah, I was in
the bath crying (my emotions were all over the place with this child) Because I
didn't want to lose my husband for 6 months. I started to pray that if this is
where the Lord wanted Dan then He would have to give me the strength to run this
house without him for 6 months and be mommy & daddy to the kids. But if this is
not what God has for Dan to send us a letter or give us a phone call letting us
know that this is it and make it say that they will no longer be considering him
in the future.

2 days later we got a letter stating that because he failed to mentioned one of
his relationships with a girl named Melissa (who was the same age as him) they
weren't considering him now or ever. There are State troopers with drug history
who have passed and because he forgot a 2 week high school relationship, they
aren't accepting him.

I was in shock because that is exactly what I had prayed so I know that the Lord
has something better for him. I mean come on... you are going to not consider
someone because they forgot about a high school relationship? that make no sense
at all except that God closed that door forever and that's what Dan needed to
hear.

I have bittersweet feelings because I want to stay at home with my kids. I love
being mommy to these two precious children that God has given me. My desire to
return to work is just not there like it was after Alayna was born. Now the
problem is that Dan is on my health insurance so God has to do a miracle and
provide Dan with a better paying job with Health insurance. I've seen God move
so much in our lives this past year that I believe He will provide for us and
give me the desire of my heart... the question is when and how. So I am excited
to see how it all plays out considering I am scheduled to return back on July
15th.

Please pray! I know God hasn't given me this desire only to not fulfill it. I
LOVE working at Christ Community Church and this has been one of my favorite
jobs and definitely my favorite workplace! I don't know what going to happen
within the next 2 weeks but I am expectant for God to move on our behalf. So
please keep us in prayer as we are down to the final hour.
