Ok so Mr. Clean and I have been in proud home owners for almost 5 years now. In July it will be 5 years. We have been remodeling our basement for 3 years now. To give my husband the benefit of the doubt...he did build a 2 car garage during that time as well.
To give you a better idea of how much we need this to be done... we have a 2 bedroom 1 bath house. There are 2 adults and little ones. We need more room. Don't get me wrong sharing my bedroom with NoNo was great at first but now I need my privacy!
Do Mr. Clean is making our master bedroom down there with 2 walk in closet and a bathroom. As well as a family/theater room, kids play area and laundry room with a craft area for me and the kiddos.
So here are some pics of our work in progress...

I'd love to have a basement that we could make into a usable space...
Yes we are doing all the work ourselves and it has saved us a ton of money. I thank God that I have a husband that knows how to otherwise we wouldn't have half of what we have now.
Wow, that is so awesome! I knew you were remodeling, but I didn't know it was such a big project. That's so great that he knows how to do everything!

Congrats - it all looks amazing. I love watching projects happen. I'm on the final leg of the decorative re-do of our living room. A long time coming :)
