I am so excited to tell you that I am an aunt again. I now have two beautiful nephews!
Samuel was born on St. Patty's Day at 1:03 am and I was there to witness it all. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Watching my sister give birth is definitely in the top 5 of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I can't even begin to describe it... and I'm under oath not to by her.
Samuel was born a few weeks early and had fluid in his lungs but the baby nurse was able to get most of it out. He is 7 lbs. 12.6 oz. and 19.25 inches long. He's pretty big for being so early. And he melts me to the core every time I see him. He has a full head of dark hair and the perfect little nose and mouth. Sorry, I don't have any pictures because I was too busy holding him. The labor was hard because the epidural didn't work 100% but the delivery was about 30 seconds long with 2 pushes. Talk about someone who was made to give birth!
I do have a prayer request for him. They think he might have an infection so he will not be able to go home with mom and dad today but the test results will be in on Thursday so we are praying and believing that he will be able to go home then!
