PRAISE REPORTS!
I had my baby doctor appointment today and Baby Noah has been healed from the Choroid Plexus Cysts that were on the ventricles of his brain! "They have disappeared" she said. Praise the Lord. The only thing that concerned them is that his left kidney is still enlarged so I have to go back for a third ultrasound in March. But I am believing that his kidney will be normal size by then so no worries!
Second Praise report is Mr. Clean received a letter from the State Police asking him to continue on towards employment with them. This means he moves on to the next level which is a series of tests on March 12th. He will have a physical fitness test, drug test, and a polygraph test. This testing will last 8 hours. Mr. Clean does not like taking tests so if you could please keep him in prayer during this time.
I also wanted to give you an idea of how great our God is. Mr. Clean took his State Police test and had an oral interview and from that was ranked 784 out of 1900 people from this area. This time around, they are only taking 100 men and women to move on to the next step so obviously he didn't make the cut. BUT then we received this packet offering him conditional employment pending him passing all the tests. Can I just WOW... that is a miracle to move 700 spots ahead of where he was. No man could have done that... It was a God move! And let me also add that if he is accepted and he becomes a State Trooper, I can be at home with my children! That is a passion of mine so this is huge for us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. CLEAN
Mr. Clean turned 29 this morning and he wasn't too happy about it. I don't know why he doesn't like celebrating his own birthday... he celebrates mine the whole week. When it comes to his, he wants me not to make a big deal about it. So, I have agreed not to make a big deal this year but already warned him that next year is the big 3-0 and I will go all out for it. I guess me saying that triggered some excitement because he decided he wants a big buffet with a DJ and he wants to do the dollar dance like they do at weddings. He actually wants people to pay a dollar to dance with him. And I think he was serious because he didn't skip a beat, he just went on and on about the type of food and music and who we would invite and where would we have it, etc. This was at 7:00 this morning. I was sitting across from him thinking I must be dreaming but then I realized that I was awake and he really wants a reception for his 30th birthday. The next thought that crossed my mind was... who's side of the family is going to pay for this reception???? I think they will leave it up to me. Once is enough for them.
That is just one of the many reasons why I love Mr. Clean. He makes everyday an adventure and I can truly say that being married to him is not boring at all. In fact I've grown to love him more than I thought I ever could.
As for presents this year... Mr. Clean wanted new headlights for his car and new tires for his 18" rims. I say wanted but he actually needs this stuff to pass inspection this month. For fun gifts Laney Bug and Baby Noah got him a #1 Daddy mug, car wash stuff & band aids. If any of you really know Mr. Clean than you know he comes home with a new cut, scratch or bruise everyday and has to show me. He is quite proud of his battle wounds. And by battle wounds I mean wounds from power tools, lifting equipment or from just getting out of the car. That is the reason for the band aids. He is particular and prefers certain types of band aids that cost as much as a new pair of shoes for me.
Happy Birthday Mr. Clean! Thank you for being yourself and for loving me even though I am so difficult to love! Oh... and thank you for our 2 beautiful children, I really couldn't have done it without you! I Love you!

OUCH!
I came home from work today and was changing into my comfies when I noticed a large mass of red bumps around my armpit. It's almost like the mass circles the pit. hee hee that sounds funny. They kind of look like pimples without the white head. And they are only on my right side.
I did try a new deodorant because my old deodorant was making my armpits itch. I go through that every time I'm pregnant for some reason. But if it was the new deodorant wouldn't it be on both sides? I am thinking that it has to be a chemical imbalance due to all the raging hormones. But if you can offer any advice I would love to hear it. Please tell me I am not the only freak with red bumps around her right armpit! hahaha

The stomach bug got the Laney Bug
She was so cute last night all cuddled up next to me. And even though we went through 4 outfits between the both of us it was worth being puked on just to hold her. This morning we were up at 7:30 am even though we went to bed at 3:30 am. But she was able to keep both food and water down! woo hoo.
Mr. Clean and I just finished sanitizing the entire house. We had to strip down Laney's room and wash everything we could, and we sprayed Lysol on everything we couldn't wash. Basically everything she or I touched was washed, scrubbed or thrown out.
Even though I am running on a few hours of sleep... my house looks fabulous. Thank you Mr. Clean!

7 Reasons Why I LOVE MIA Board Meetings
Have you ever been to a bored meeting... I mean board meeting? Well, if you have and you were bored that is totally understandable. Most board meeting are a snooze fest but let me let you in on a little secret. Moms In Action board meetings are almost my favorite things to go to. Sonic, the Caribbean, and amusement parks are my top three but MIA board meetings are forth for sure.
First, the leader TCC is a riot and always knows how to have fun but yet we still have order and get things accomplished.
Second, the other ladies ( Promises, Hands Free, Thrills, Classic, Christine, Say Anything, Don't Make Us, and Tammi) are truly a fun mixed group. I can't even begin to tell you how much I have grown to love these women. They are all different but yet put them in a room together and the mesh like mash potatoes.
Third, I laugh so much that I burn enough calories to eat as much cake the next day as I want. And who doesn't like burning calories and eating cake?
Forth, We eat a pregnant lady's dream snack... chocolate pudding, cheese and apples. It is the perfect match... Dessert, Dairy and Fruit!!!
Fifth, You get a night off from the kids... enough said.
sixth, You get to make crafts sometimes... not really my thing but the other ladies are fantastic at it.
seventh, Do I even need to continue on...
Let me just add that if you ever feel like God is calling you to the MIA team, you will not be bored or disappointed. I love being a part of it and hope they don't kick me off any time soon! hee hee

Embracing the "New"
I was pondering this today well actually this morning because I feel as though the Lord is moving us into new places. With new places comes new things. "New" can be scary but if you walk by faith then you lean on the Lord and not your own ability. I certainly don't want to try to do anything on my own even though at times I feel as though I take the reins from the Lord. I have to learn to give them back and trust he can steer me better than I can.
New can look different to us and so we tend to judge new. But what would happen if we embraced new and instead of judging and took it before the Lord to prove it right? I know I am guilty of searching the scriptures to find fault rather than searching to find truth in the new. I want to be able to move past that and say just because I've never seen or heard that before doesn't mean it isn't from you Lord.
I have to be honest with you and tell you that I have made judgment on many people at my church because they were doing something new. I've had to repent many times because you know God has a sense of humor and starts using the new on me. All of a sudden the very thing I thought was the devil is actually the Lord revealing Himself in a new way. OOOPPS!
I feel as though a big change is on the way and I want my heart to be in the right place when it comes. "I don't want to be an expert in the old but a novice in the new." (quote from Pastor Dave)
