Kid stuff

I was looking at my beautiful baby boy the other day and noticed that he almost always has his tongue out. Well, not hanging out but right in between his lips. I think it might be too big for his mouth. Every time I look at him and it's out I have to laugh because my mom was over and she said I used to do the same thing when I was little. In fact I did it until I was about ten years old. She said she would walk into the room and see me staring at something with my tongue out. At first she was worried but the Doctor told her that I was fine and sometimes when I focus on something or I am in deep thought, I lose control over my tongue. I am so glad that I outgrew that but I seem to have passed it on to my son.

My big girl Laney bug is doing so good with her little brother. She is such a little mommy to him! She loves to help feed him, change him & her personal favorite... sing to him. Here are some pictures of her.

Being mommy

I have to say I was a bit nervous about being home with two kids but so far I am loving it! I was overwhelmed for like a minute but then I established a routine and it seems to be going pretty good. Granted Mr. Clean has been with me this whole week. I don't know about your husbands but mine seems not to realize that I need help sometimes... he waits until I ask him to do something instead of looking around and seeing that I am one person and two babies are crying! I guess I can't complain... my house is clean and the laundry is almost all finished from the week. I do have a built in maid so that's a lot less I have to do.

Today is the first day I am on my own and I think I am doing a good job. I haven't showered yet but no one is here to smell me but my kids and they love me anyway. My shower will come when Laney takes her nap and Baby NoNo is fed and snoozing yet again.

On a side note, I have received great meals from you all! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Oh and to my mother in law... Laney thanks you for the flan!
