Working Out

So, I started working out on Sunday and have worked out every day since for 50 minutes each day. Let me add that I have not worked out in 2 years... TWO YEARS!

The muscles under the ta-tas are hurting and yes apparently I have muscles there. I went to sit down to pee yesterday and screamed because my butt muscles hurt so bad. And to top it all off i slept in my clothes I wore the other day because I couldn't lift my arms to take them off. I am serious ladies... I couldn't make this stuff up.

Let me share with you how it all began. I was at my parent's house the other Saturday and decided to weigh myself (I don't have a scale at home) and I was mortified. There is a reason I don't own a scale. I don't want or have a desire to be obsessed with weight so I choose not to be but when I looked down and saw... Yes I am going to tell you all my weight...177, I nearly passed out. My husband weighs 185 so that makes him only 8lbs. heavier than me.

OH DEAR LORD... HELP ME! SO even though I ache all over and cry every time I have to sit down and pee (we can't stand... I tried) I am still working out 5 days a week for 50 minutes each day and I will be fit again.

Sorry if I am too honest... that's just the way I roll... lol

I love your honesty. You need to join us as we endeavor to be healthy this year. Seriously, I feel your pain as the Wii fit scores me at couch potato. :)

:) I feel your pain. I went to the doctor yesterday. Let me just tell you that not only is this the heaviest I've ever been, but this is even heavier than I ever THOUGHT I would be. Ugh. I need to do something.

By the way, come on over and Wii with us.

I am so impressed! Just remember that you are probably going to build some muscle with all that working out... muscle does weigh more than fat, but it also burns 20X the calories. So don't get down on yourself if the scale goes up a little before going down. You go girl!

Way to go, although it sounds painful! Keep up the good work. :)

You are going to see the fruits of your labor--seriously. Then, after the pain is gone (it will go) and you're getting into the clothes that you've been saving for this very day, you are going to marvel at how it all was worth it.

Thanks for being honest. Weight is something that I thought I would never have a problem with, and now I do. Your weight (thanks for sharing) was my starting weight for this pregnancy--how excited am I to build on top of that one! :) I'm going to try and see if I can't firm up the roll that people have been caressing and calling "the baby". That's not my baby, that's my fat roll. Please stop rubbing it. :)

Whew-hew! I'm going to post this, then kick myslef later. That's okay though. You're all friends and maybe that will give me the motivation I need to start working out again. It's been too long. :)

Can't wait to share your joy in what the Lord is going to help you accomplish! :) You are a beautiful lady!
