HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. CLEAN

Mr. Clean turned 29 this morning and he wasn't too happy about it. I don't know why he doesn't like celebrating his own birthday... he celebrates mine the whole week. When it comes to his, he wants me not to make a big deal about it. So, I have agreed not to make a big deal this year but already warned him that next year is the big 3-0 and I will go all out for it. I guess me saying that triggered some excitement because he decided he wants a big buffet with a DJ and he wants to do the dollar dance like they do at weddings. He actually wants people to pay a dollar to dance with him. And I think he was serious because he didn't skip a beat, he just went on and on about the type of food and music and who we would invite and where would we have it, etc. This was at 7:00 this morning. I was sitting across from him thinking I must be dreaming but then I realized that I was awake and he really wants a reception for his 30th birthday. The next thought that crossed my mind was... who's side of the family is going to pay for this reception???? I think they will leave it up to me. Once is enough for them.

That is just one of the many reasons why I love Mr. Clean. He makes everyday an adventure and I can truly say that being married to him is not boring at all. In fact I've grown to love him more than I thought I ever could.

As for presents this year... Mr. Clean wanted new headlights for his car and new tires for his 18" rims. I say wanted but he actually needs this stuff to pass inspection this month. For fun gifts Laney Bug and Baby Noah got him a #1 Daddy mug, car wash stuff & band aids. If any of you really know Mr. Clean than you know he comes home with a new cut, scratch or bruise everyday and has to show me. He is quite proud of his battle wounds. And by battle wounds I mean wounds from power tools, lifting equipment or from just getting out of the car. That is the reason for the band aids. He is particular and prefers certain types of band aids that cost as much as a new pair of shoes for me.

Happy Birthday Mr. Clean! Thank you for being yourself and for loving me even though I am so difficult to love! Oh... and thank you for our 2 beautiful children, I really couldn't have done it without you! I Love you!

Happy Birthday! We can't believe you are 29! We remember (fondly!) when you were a snot-nosed little junior higher. And look at you now, a DADDY and all grown up! Have a great day and here's some hugs and kisses from The Gang :) XOXOXOXOXOX
